Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)

Service Description

Hyperhidrosis is a common problem where a person sweats excessively due to hypersensitivity of glands. This is a common condition that can be extremely debilitating for some people and effects their every day life. Hyperhidrosis Symptoms; Sudden chronic excessive sweating that has occurred for at least 6 months Excessive sweating on both sides of the body No sweating during sleep Clammy or wet soles and palms of the hands Obvious sweating that penetrates through clothing This is a successful treatment using Botulinum Toxin A that blocks the compounds that trigger the overproduction of sweat glands. Medication used is Botulinum Toxin A, this is a naturally occurring protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium. Botulinum Toxin A is a very safe, effective treatment used in aesthetic clinics, and for a number of medical conditions, including migraine and excessive sweating. Botulinum Toxin A is a prescription only medication (POM) and can only be prescribed by doctors, dentists and nurses with a prescribing qualification, following a face to face assessment and consultation with the qualified prescriber. Recommend treatment every 6-9 months

Cancellation Policy

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS If you require to Cancel or Amend your appointment please give 72 hours’ notice. There cannot refund or transfer of deposit without 72 hours’ notice. This is because it does not give Beau Aesthetic Clinic sufficient time to fill the consultation slot. Treatment Appointments: The deposit is towards the cost of treatment. If you decide not to go ahead & cancel with 72 hours your deposit will be refunded upon request. Consultation Appointments: Consultation Appointments are stand alone slots (usually 30 minutes) in which the client and the nurse discuss treatments with no treatment carried out. Your deposit will be refunded upon request (or carried forward) as long as 72 hours’ notice of a cancellation/amendment is given. Refunds of deposits can take up to 10 working days to be credited back to your card.
